SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 1: One Mile Time Trial
Run a Mile Time Trial any time between the morning of Saturday April 4th and 4:00pm Sunday April 5th
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 2: Virtual 5k Challenge
Run a 5k any time between the morning of Thursday April 9th and 4:00pm Sunday April 12th
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 3: Virtual 8k Challenge
Run an 8k any time between the morning of Thursday April 16th and 4:00pm Sunday April 19th
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 4: Virtual 10k Challenge
Run a 10k any time between the morning of Thursday April 23rd and 4:00pm Sunday April 26th
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 5: Virtual 10 Mile Challenge
Run a 10 miler any time between the morning of Thursday April 30th and Sunday May 3rd
VIRTUAL CHALLENGE 5: Virtual Half Marathon
Run a Half Marathon any time between the morning of Thursday May 7th and Sunday May 10th

We've set up a great Virtual Race/Run event for everyone to participate in over the coming weeks to keep us busy between conference calls and as a temporary replacement for missed races! Sound interesting? Check out the details below:
Second catch: you have to send us your GPS data!
To do this, you can sign up for Strava and join the Charlotte Running Club club on the app OR you can send us your data as a screenshot from your Garmin or GPS device of choice.
You DO NOT have to be a Charlotte Running Club member to join the Strava club or participate in the challenge!
Detailed instructions for how to share your run are below and we will post ALL off the results on Sunday evening!
Each week we will draw a random runner who has completed the virtual race to award a prize.
Also, the overall Male AND Female winner of each virtual race will get a prize.
**Note: FOR EACH ACTIVITY PLEASE STOP YOUR WATCH AS CLOSE TO THE DISTANCE FOR EACH CHALLENGE AS POSSIBLE!**
eg: stop watch at 3.1 miles for the 5k, 4.97 miles for the 8k, 6.2 miles for the 10k and 13.1 miles for the half marathon!
POSTING VIA STRAVA:
To post your challenge/race results via Strava, you must first Create an account.
You must then join our club on strava.
Then upload your run and Include RUNCRC in the name of your activity.
SUBMITTING RESULTS MANUALLY:
Email us a screenshot of your GPS activity to firstname.lastname@example.org.
