Caravan to DuPont State Forest

Due to a new application fee policy at Moses Cone Memorial Park, we have changed our road trip location to DuPont State Forest near the Brevard/Hendersonville area. DuPont features over 83 miles of multi-use trails with beautiful views of mountain tops, lakes, and waterfalls.  

We will still meet at the Starbucks near Carolina Place Mall (9015 Pineville-Matthews Road) at 6am, order coffee, and then caravan to DuPont. The drive will be approximately 2 1/2 hours.

All paces are welcome . We  plan to stay in that park thru the morning and enjoy a group lunch at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard afterwards.
